Bacharach acquires U.S. manufacturer to deliver test, measurement instrumentation

Bacharach has acquired Pennsylvania-based Neutronics Inc., a provider of refrigerant and gas analyzers for the automotive and commercial HVAC markets. Its oxygen analyzers are also used in the semi-conductor industry, and its self contained breathing units in the safety and rescue industry.
The purchase aims to strengthen Bacharach’s ability to provide HVAC/R and automotive markets with fixed and portable test and measurement instrumentation.
Neutronics will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Bacharach and continue to carry its existing brand. Gary Halpern, president, and David Halpern, COO, will continue to lead the company. www.mybacharach.com www.neutronicsinc.com
