March 9, 2022 | By HPAC Magazine

The Daikin, Goodman and Amana sales and marketing teams will fall under new corporate umbrella: Daikin Comfort Technologies.

spatialDaikin North America’s residential unitary, ductless and light commercial products organization is unifying its Daikin, Goodman and Amana HVAC brand sales and marketing forces under a new corporate name and structure: Daikin Comfort Technologies.

This new structure aligns brand sales efforts in North America and will become effective April 1, 2022.

Taka Inoue

“Our operation in North America has more than doubled in revenue since the acquisition of Goodman [acquired in 2012] and is now the largest of any Daikin entity in the world, making North America one of Daikin’s top priorities to invest in and grow,” says Takayuki “Taka” Inoue, Chief sales and marketing officer for Daikin.

The company is creating a more unified sales strategy and Daikin, Amana and Goodman branded equipment will continue to be offered for contractors to serve both premium and value-based customers.

“Daikin, Goodman, Amana and Quietflex will remain and play an important role in our brands for products in the future,” says Inoue.

The current Daikin and Goodman sales and marketing functions will be consolidated into a single business unit, led by Inoue.
