The Canadian Hydronics Council (CHC) has bestowed its annual Award of Merit to Paul Stevenson, who recently retired from EMCO Corp. where he had served as the profit centre manager in Victoria as well as a hydronics technical services specialist. He retired in April after 45 years with the same company.

The CHC Award of Merit is given to an industry volunteer who has contributed to the hydronics industry in Canada for at least 10 years, and whose contributions of time, knowledge and expertise have improved the professional profile of the industry through education, training, public relations, technical achievements or the development of codes and standards.

Launched in 2012, the Award of Merit is the highest honour for an individual in the Canadian hydronics industry.
