HPAC contributor John Siegenthaler, P.E. will be presenting a series of three webinars on details associated with the design of wood-based biomass hydronic heating systems.
Sponsored by the New York State Energy Research & Development Authority (NYSERDA), the webinars are free to attend and are aimed at hydronic system designers and engineers. They will provide details that help optimize the performance of hydronic heating systems supplied by cordwood gasification and pellet boilers.
The dates and topics include:
January 28, 2021 / 1:00-2:00 PM Eastern time
- Topic: Why low temperature distribution systems improve biomass boiler performance
February 18, 2021 / 1:00-2:00 PM Eastern time
- Topic: Proper installation of temperature sensors in biomass boiler systems
March 18, 2021 1:00-2:00 PM Eastern time
- Topic: Using external heat exchangers in biomass boiler systems with non-pressurized thermal storage.
