Chemours expands in North America with purchase of Indiana ACR company

Gordon McKinney, Icor COO and vice president of sales, said the acquisition aligns with Chemours goal to establish itself as “a new kind of chemistry company.”
Chemours has acquired Indiana-based Icor International, a privately-owned manufacturer and supplier of ozone safe air conditioning and refrigerant products.
According to Chemours, the acquisition will allow it to expand in North America and meet customer needs.
“Icor has developed an excellent reputation with contractors and equipment owners, has strong brands and an extensive distributor network, all of which will be a valuable addition to Chemours,” said Diego Boeri, vice president of Chemours fluorochemicals business. www.chemours.com
