On March 4, 2017, Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) initiated the development of Amendment 15 to the Energy Efficiency Regulations. This Amendment would introduce or update energy efficiency standards and, where applicable, test methods and associated reporting and compliance requirements for 21 product categories.
In order to solicit stakeholder views, NRCan has just posted on its website technical bulletins for these product categories:
A webinar will be held on August 23, 2017 to present the details of each technical bulletin. Register for this webinar and share your comments.
Stakeholders should submit written comments by September 7, 2017 on the regulatory changes being considered in these technical bulletins.
Notices of new bulletins will be sent to stakeholders over the next couple of months for the remaining products in Amendment 15.
