Pentair Thermal Building & Industrial Tracing Solutions has added to its Raychem product line with the acquisitions of Vancouver-based Nuheat and Bylin Engineered Systems.
The Nuheat acquisition is meant to shore up the company’s portfolio of floor-heating and winter-safety solutions. Meanwhile, the Bylin move expands the company’s current offerings to protect buildings and people in demanding winter conditions.
Bylin comes with its flagship Roof Ice Melt (RIM) System, which aims to prevent roof ice dam, icicles and freeze-ups in gutters and downspouts. Nuheat will bring its Wi-Fi-enabled, floor-heating thermostat.
