The Canadian Institute of Plumbing and Heating (CIPH) is taking a new approach for this year’s World Plumbing Day, to be held on March 11.The association is calling on elementary school students to ask themselves “what water means to them.” For every submission, CIPH will donate five dollars to WaterAid Canada.

Those interested can submit entries here: www.ciph.com/page/watermeans.

World Plumbing Day, hosted annually by the World Plumbing Council since 2010, aims to promote global access to quality, fresh water and safe sanitation. It is marked by international celebrations, competitions, seminars and other activities. www.ciph.com  www.worldplumbing.org
