American Standard Extends Matte Black in Bathroom Collections

American Standard has expanded its matte black finish to three of its bathroom product lines: Townsend; Edgemere; and Spectra Showering.
“We’re seeing increasing interest in the matte black finish, and it’s poised to be one of the most popular finishes—narrowly beating out stainless—per a recent National Kitchen + Bath Association (NKBA) report,” says Marlon Thompson, vice president of marketing at American Standard, part of LIXIL.

The Townsend collection offers a combination of urban styling, innovative technologies, and water efficient performance. The collection offers a selection of bath faucets including lavatory models, complementary bath and shower trim, and accessories.
Edgemere collection.
Tapping into a classic style, the Edgemere collection is designed for people who value products that are both stylish and easy to install.
Spectre shower collection.
The Spectra collection offers a range of products for homeowners to customize a shower space. Ranging from hand showers to fixed showerheads, the collection is flexible to suit individualized preferences for all ages and mobility levels in the home. All multi-function Spectra showerheads and hand showers feature four spray functions from five choices (depending on the model): drench, sensitive, massage and either powerwash or jet. They also feature easy-to-clean spray nozzles to reduce maintenance.
