The IDS Premium Connected air source heat pump system links to the Bosch EasyAir App, allowing contractors access to installation and troubleshooting information and more.

Bosch Thermotechnology had added the IDS Premium Connected to its Inverter Ducted Split (IDS) family of air source heat pump systems

IDS Premium Connected comes with wireless connectivity that links to the Bosch EasyAir App, allowing contractors access to the information required to conduct on-site installation, troubleshooting, and even warranty registration.

Homeowners can also use the app to monitor their energy usage and receive alerts, as well as contact their contractor for maintenance and repairs.

The new system provides a 20-plus seasonal energy efficiency ratio (SEER), sound levels as low as 56 dBA and easy installation in a small, compact footprint.

The fully modulating inverter compressor offers 36% to 130% capacity with modulation in 1% increments. This capability allows the IDS Premium Connected to match the heating and cooling load while achieving maximum efficiency.

The system also has a heating seasonal performance rating of 10.5 and can provide heating even when outdoor temperatures drop as low as -4F (-20C).

The accompanying Bosch air handler includes a two-stage x13 electronically commutated motor (ECM) blower for enhanced humidity control and an all-aluminum coil for enhanced corrosion resistance.

The IDS Premium connected outdoor unit is available in 36k Btu and 60k Btu capacity.
