Watts Introduces ArmorTek Advanced Coating System

Watts has announced the addition of the ArmorTek advanced coating system to its ductile iron backflow preventer valves. Technology provides three layers of protection. Contains an electrochemical corrosion inhibitor. Slows the spread of corrosion if metal substrate become exposed from wear or impact. Exclusive formula also inhibits the growth of bacteria that cause microbial-induced corrosion or MIC. Specially designed to bond to the primer and provides a high-strength barrier between the iron substrate and water.
