Desco acquisition strengthens presence in southwestern Ontario

Jon Leeson, vice president and general manager of Desco Plumbing and Heating Supply has announced that, effective December 5, 2012, Desco Plumbing and Heating Supply has completed the purchase of the assets of Western Plumbing and Industrial Supplies Limited, headquartered in London, ON. Established in 1941, Western Plumbing will continue to operate in its current structure with all contact information remaining unchanged. “The addition of Western’s locations in London and Stratford, together with their experienced employees, brings the number of Desco branch locations to 16 and provides the opportunity to broaden our market share and our presence in southwestern Ontario” explained Leeson.
