Pierre Martin and Marc Bergeron, presidents of Pro Kontrol, a wholesale distribution company, were recently awarded Builder of the Year by La Corporation des entreprises de traitement de l’air et du froid (CETAF). The award recognizes a business leader who, through his leadership, achievements and business management, has enriched Quebec’s industrial heritage whether Quebec-wide or region.
Martin and Bergeron joined Pro Kontrol in 1985, and later purchased the business in 1991. Under the duo’s guidance, the company, which is based out of Laval, QC, opened additional locations totalling three branches in Quebec, one in Markham, ON and one in Dartmouth, NS.
“We have worked very hard, with passion and conviction, to get here,” said Martin.
CETAF attributed Pro Kontrol’s success to the quality of the company’s customer service and the support of its technical experts. Pro Kontrol, which celebrated its 30th anniversary in the fall of 2015, also offers a range of training courses.
