Danfoss has acquired Pennsylvania-based AAIM Controls Inc., a supplier of custom-designed regulation and control automation solutions.

With the purchase, Danfoss hopes to enter the industrial refrigeration market as a systems provider.

“By adding electronic regulation and control automation to our already-extensive portfolio of components for industrial refrigeration applications, we strengthen our global position by becoming a systems provider in the industrial refrigeration market,” said Jürgen Fischer, president of Danfoss Cooling.

Arthur Marshall, one of the founders of AAIM Controls, said that the acquisition allows the company to expand into “new areas.”

“I’m confident that the partnership with Danfoss will open up new business opportunities,” he said.

AAIM Controls employs 24 people at its 16,000 square-foot facility in Waynesboro, PA. www.aaimcontrols.com
