Circuit Purging – Getting the Air Out with John Siegenthaler [30 Mechanical Minutes]

Every closed-loop hydronic system begins its service life filled with air, and that transition from air-filled to liquid-filled requires purging—as all of the air is “purged” from the system. With modern methods it’s possible to efficiently purge air from hydronic circuits and keep them air free over time.

On November 3rd, hydronics industry expert John Siegenthaler joined HPAC Magazine editor Doug Picklyk for this episode of 30 Mechanical Minutes where they discussed the ins and outs of forced circuit purging – getting the air out when filling or re-filling a hydronic system, and then keeping the air out.
