Apprentices in Canada ePanel seeking survey participants

May 27, 2020 | By HPAC Magazine

A current survey is seeking to understand the challenges apprentices are facing as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Apprentices in Canada ePanel is a survey group that provides apprentices and early-career journeypersons with opportunities to share their experiences from inside the apprenticeship system.

The ePanel is hosted by the Canadian Apprenticeship Forum – Forum canadien sur l’apprentissage (CAF-FCA), a non-profit organization that connects Canada’s apprenticeship community, and the CAF-FCA is actively seeking more apprentices across the country to participate in the ePanels.

CAF-FCA brings together apprenticeship stakeholders from across trades, across sectors and across Canada to share information, identify challenges and propose joint solutions.  As a national voice for the apprenticeship community, CAF-FCA influences apprenticeship strategies through research, discussion and collaboration. Its research and events provide stakeholders with accurate, unbiased insights into apprenticeship challenges and barriers and illustrates the substantial benefits of hiring and training apprentices.

When they join, apprentices complete a screener survey offering insights CAF-FCA shares with its members. Additional ePanel surveys focus on specific topics.

Currently, to help CAF-FCA understand the challenges apprentices are facing as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, a new survey is being launched to the 3,500+ members of the Apprentices in Canada ePanel.

Participation is voluntary.
