April 3, 2018 | By HPAC Magazine

CMPX 2018 delegates headed to HPAC’s booth on March 21st and 22nd for a chance to win testo’s 317-3 CO monitor and Viega’s flameless press technology system. Peter Leonard, HPAC publisher, has announced the winners of this popular contest.

Tim Koebel of Koebel Heating, Cooling and Mechanical puts the testo CO detector to work.

Tim Koebel of Koebel Heating, Cooling and Mechanical in Montrose, ON is now the proud owner of testo’s pocket-sized CO monitor. He will be taking it along to furnace and boiler service and maintenance, weatherization audits and home inspections. The 317-3 detects the presence of carbon monoxide in ambient air and warns the user both visually and audibly about dangerous CO concentrations. A self-test mode verifies CO sensor at all times without the need for test gas.

The monitor is suited for use in residential and commercial combustion applications and comes with an earphone jack for loud environments. The ambient CO air quality tester measures and displays CO from 0-1999 PPM and gives warning of excessiv

e levels with adjustable audible and visual alarms.
Other features include: HOLD and MAX settings, and an exclusive self-check mode that verifies CO sensor response in seconds.
