Contractor and television personality, Mike Holmes has chosen Sedona Lifestyles as his first building partner in Ontario. The Heights at Marionville, a collection of 13 estate homes in south Mississauga, is their first collaboration and the first Holmes Approved Community in Ontario. Six separate home inspections will be conducted on every Holmes Approved Home throughout construction to ensure they are built to Holmes’ expectations. As a third party consultant, Holmes brings “research, development experience and technical advantages (including thermal photography).” Holmes specifies a standard of construction above the Ontario Building Code, such as structural upgrades that include moisture and fire resistant wood, superior exterior seals on the house and water resistant insulation. Holmes also has partnerships with builders in Saskatchewan and Alberta.
