Sian Smith Receives CIPH Women of Distinction Award

The Canadian Institute of Plumbing and Heating (CIPH) handed out its second ever Women of Distinction Award to Siân Smith of Riptide Fulfillment Corp.
The first female to serve as National CIPH Chair (2015-16) and a founder of the CIPH Women’s Network, Smith was presented the award from the first woman to receive the honour last year, Barbara O’Reilly, vice president/general manager with Rheem Canada.
The award recognizes individuals who have demonstrated a commitment to mentoring, developing and promoting women in the plumbing and heating industry.
Smith served on the CIPH Board from 2009 to 2016
The CIPH Women of Distinction award was presented at the CIPH Annual Business Conference 2023 in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador.
