Taylor Pipe Supports partnering with Walraven in Canada
In addition, Gary Day steps into the role of president for Taylor Pipe Supports, while Allen Taylor takes on new special projects role.
Taylor Pipe Supports and the Walraven Group have announced a Canadian partnership that became effective October 1, 2020.
Offering a complete line of pipe supports and strut products that serve the plumbing, mechanical, and fire protection markets, Taylor Pipe Supports is Canadian owned and operated with facilities in Hamilton and Burlington, Ont. as well as in Delta, B.C.
Taylor products will remain the primary brand for Taylor Pipe Supports in Canada as the company introduces new Walraven products and innovations as part of the partnership plans going forward.
“Our plans are to continue to build upon our Canadian manufacturing and distribution capabilities,” said Allen Taylor in a company release. “We believe that creating local capacity to serve and support the local market is essential, and a better strategic choice compared to other alternatives.”
As part of the company’s transition, Allen Taylor will be stepping down as president and beginning a new role as director of special projects. Gary Day, vice president and general manager, is stepping into the role of president.
Taylor Pipe Supports was founded in 1966 by L. Eric Taylor (Allen Taylor’s father). The Walraven Group is a global company headquartered in The Netherlands that is involved in multiple sectors of the pipe and cable supports markets.
