Victaulic and Bermad partner up

Victaulic, a manufacturer of mechanical pipe-joining and fire protection systems, has joined businesses with Bermad, a global producer of hydraulic water and air valve technologies. This new partnership, Victaulic Bermad Technologies (VBT), will be based out of Houston, TX.

VBT intends to hone in on select markets and applications, including fire protection, and expand the Victaulic valve and device market in both the U.S. and Canada.

“The goal of this initiative is to not only expand Victaulic’s existing valve and device offering in the commercial fire protection space, but to also create new system solution opportunities for the industry,” said Bob Freidl, vice president of sales and market development.

Nadav Yakir, CEO of Victaulic Bermad Technologies, says that “Victaulic brings a strong commercial presence combined with industry leading pipe-joining solutions, while Bermad has an established reputation for quality device technologies. For customers, it’s a promising blend of two sound companies.”
