Viega expanding North American manufacturing operation

Production lines from Europe are transferring to the company's plant in Kansas.
Viega LLC, the North American division of the German-based company, has added production lines to its Kansas manufacturing operations to speed up distribution and allow the company to move more production from Germany to North America.
The most recent expansion is a 200,000 sq. ft. manufacturing plant.
“These latest expansions will allow us to increase production of our ProPress copper line and get shipments to distributors and customers faster than ever,” said Viega COO Robert Boots.
When fully operational, the new plant will house additional ProPress production lines of various products and sizes. Many of those products have been manufactured in Germany, but the company is moving some production to Kansas to accommodate growth in the North American market.
