Bosch Home Comfort has introduced two compact air handlers, one wall-mounted (BWA) and one ceiling-mounted (BCA), designed for new construction multifamily housing projects or offices.

The air handlers pair with the Bosch Inverter Ducted Split (IDS) heat pump system’s Light condensing section to increase installation options for consumers—especially in tight spaces.

The air handlers are equipped with all-aluminum coils and are backed up by a 10-year warranty.

The IDS Light condensing section contains a full inverter compressor to consistently adjust temperatures and control the speed. The air handlers are 33% smaller in size to easily fit in closet spaces.

The wall-mounted BWA can be placed on top of a water heater to save additional space in apartments or condos. The ceiling-mounted BCA is suited for office buildings, as it can be leveraged in spaces with a drop ceiling to connect to a condensing unit above.

The units also provide easy access and installation, and the unit casing can be installed prior to the actual unit going in preventing the risk of equipment damage during construction, as contractors can frame out the unit ahead of time and install it into the casing later.
