Ranger Design introduces lighter shelving design

With EVs in mind, new composite aluminum shelving handles the same load capacity as steel with a 25% reduction in weight.
Ranger Design, manufacturers of commercial van storage solutions, have introduced a new Composite Aluminum Shelving offering that features lighter weight solutions designed to accommodate the shift of service vehicle fleets to electric vehicles.
The new shelving line provides the same load capacity as the company’s steel shelving with a 25% reduction in weight.
The new aluminum-alloy end panels are coated with a protective finish to improve smudge- and abrasion-resistance. The coating also eliminates the need for PVC film, reducing packaging and making installation easier.
Each shelf combines aluminum extrusions with a honeycomb composite, providing improved noise mitigation and protection across a wider range of chemicals.
With 14 new solutions available in seven widths and two heights there are shelving solutions tailored to fit the needs of service vehicle fleets.
