Bosch launches two new water source heat pump series

New products include residential and commercial options with simplified connections and improved sustainability.
CL Series for commercial applications.
Bosch Home Comfort has introduced the Bosch CL and RL series of water source heat pumps (WSHP) featuring low global warming potential (GWP) refrigerant, R454B.
The single-stage unit CL Series is designed to fit most commercial replacement projects with a compact cabinet design and quiet operation.
The CL Series has a swinging electrical box, a slide out blower on the vertical units, and designated compartments for high and low voltage components.
These features improve safety conditions for technicians and installers and also streamline routine services and repairs by offering greater accessibility to the unit’s compressor, air coils and other internal components.
The series is available in vertical or horizontal units with sizes ranging from ½ to 6 tons.
RL Series water-source heat pump for residential.
The RL Series designed for any home HVAC upgrade or new residential construction project is also equipped with a swinging and divided electrical box for fast and safe maintenance, as well as a slide out blower on the vertical units.
Each RL unit is made with permanent split capacitor (PSC) motors which use the latest stator technology at a lower cost and a unit protection module (UPM) that interfaces directly with homeowner thermostats to provide time delays and protect the unit against freezing of the water coil and evaporated coil.
The RL series is available in vertical and horizontal sizes and has a one-year parts limited warranty and a five-year compressor limited warranty.
