Armstrong celebrates 90 years

Founded in Toronto in 1934 by Samuel Allan Armstrong, this year marks the 90th anniversary of Armstrong Fluid Technology and the company is recognizing this milestone in April.

Growing from the challenges of the Great Depression, by 1952 under the leadership of James Allan Cary Armstrong the company adopted a series of strategic initiatives that reshaped its operations and facilitated international growth. Today, Armstrong operates eight manufacturing facilities across four continents.

“Innovation and a focus on customer experiences remain at the heart of what we do,” says Charles Armstrong, the current Chairman.

Armstrong is also committed to sustainability and social responsibility, working towards reducing the carbon footprint of its operations and those of its customers.

Over its 90-year history, Armstrong has contributed to numerous iconic buildings and projects worldwide.

The company celebrated its anniversary at its offices globally, with events reflecting the diverse cultural traditions of its international teams. These celebrations were a nod to Armstong’s rich history and its future aspirations.
