Sioux Chief introduces Service Box systems

April 5, 2024 | By HPAC Magazine

Complete rough-in kits save contractors time and money.

Sioux Chief has introduced its unique ServiceBox system, an all-new system approach that represents the latest innovation for accessible plumbing.

Each ServiceBox kit provides quality, code-approved, accessible valves that allow contractors to save time and material with every installation.

Separate kits are available for single valve main or water supply shut off, pressure reducing valve (PRV) for inline connection to water supply, water heater connections (either flow through or termination style), water softener with inlet/outlet and brine discharge, dual valve for separating/isolating lines, and valved outlets for appliances.

The basic concept of the ServiceBox revolves around the idea of installing valves at rough-in. The ServiceBox systems come with a strong mounting box, full flow valves, union connections with EPDM seals so valves are repairable and replaceable, multiple connection types and sizes are available (including: expansion, crimp, CPVC socket, CTS & IPS push, MSWT, press, push, all from 1/2-in. to 1-1/4-in. depending on application).

The ServiceBox system is intended to compete with a contractor’s own time/labour and common or lower-quality valves.
