The new Solstice Inverter Extreme allows for heating in outdoor temperatures as low as -22F (-30C).

SpacePak has announced the latest addition to its inverter series of Solstice air-to-water heat pumps, the Solstice Inverter Extreme.

The Solstice Inverter Extreme is an inverter-driven cold climate air-to-water heat pump that provides hydronic heating, cooling, and domestic hot water (DHW) using an inverter-driven compressor, inverter-driven fans and fan motors, and enhanced vapour injection technology.

The units allow for heating operation in outdoor temperatures as low as -22F (-30C), while delivering reliable water temperatures as high as 130F (54C).

The system comes equipped with a flexible control platform that offers intelligent operation and precise load matching for optimized efficiencies and outputs in all climates and conditions.

Available in a 4-ton model, it features a monobloc design and the system uses R410A refrigerant which is kept outside.
