AKWA water leak technology to be available in Ontario

HydroSolution has announced its AKWA water leak prevention and detection technology will soon be available in Ontario.

The device, recently launched in Quebec, includes smart probes with bi-directional communications. It is designed to close the main water valve before any leak occurs.

When a leak is detected, an alarm is triggered and the valve is closed. Once the water main has been shut off, an SMS message can be sent to a mobile phone.

AKWA can detect false alarms, water infiltrations from roofs, walls or basements.
