Recent personnel announcements from the HVAC, plumbing and refrigeration industries.
Following are some the recent personnel announcements affecting the Canadian plumbing, mechanical and HVAC industry over the past few months.

Caleffi North America has named Rolf Fischer as national sales manager for Canada. Bringing extensive sales experience to the role, Fischer previously worked with Prier Products, Independent Mechanical Supply and OS&B. In his new role he will drive growth in the plumbing and hydronic industries across the country.

After serving as interim president/COO, Fujitsu General America (FGA) has promoted Tomokazu Hosoi to president. Since joining Fujitsu in 2001, Hosoi has held sales and marketing roles, management and most recently vice president of business development for seven years.

OS&B appointed Kristy Ryan as vice president of sales and marketing. Ryan joined OS&B in 2019 and most recently served as national sales manager for Canada. In her new role, she will oversee Canadian sales and marketing teams.

NIBCO has promoted of Lisa Lyon to Webstone general manager, responsible for all aspects of the business unit. Bringing over 18 years of experience to the position, Lyon has been a co-inventor on multiple Webstone patents and founded the brand’s Customer Council in 2018 to facilitate an ongoing connection with the trades.

GWBD Operations, owners of PRIER Products, Stern-Williams, and Fiat Products, has named Chad Neil as national sales manager – Canada. Neil brings over 25 years of sales experience in the Canadian market, most recently with Taylor Walraven and previously with RWC and Weil-McLain.

CB Supplies named Paul Agapito as its senior marketing manager. Combined with previous ad agency and building products industry roles, Agapito brings over 15 years of experience in marketing, advertising, branding, communications, and support of product development.

Independent Mechanical Supply has named Lee Keay as its head of HVAC. An experienced leader in the HVAC wholesale space with over 34 years of experience, most recently Keay helped drive the HVAC/R business for a large national wholesaler.

Paul Ethier has joined Halo Water as national sales manager for Canada. Ethier brings with him over 15 years experience in the water treatment industry, including roles at Watts Water Technologies, Canature Watergroup, and Luminor UV.

Marcone Group has named Randall Hudspeth as president of Marcone HVAC which includes 12 distributors with 103 branches serving 18 U.S. states and Ontario, including Mark’s Supply and TML Supply. Most recently, Hudspeth was COO for Johnstone Supply-The Petit Group.

A-Gas has named Andrew Stride as director of operations for their new Hamilton area facility. Stride is a professional engineer with over a decade of experience. He joined A-Gas in the fall of 2021 as an engineering manager.

Madison Air has appointed Joe Patterson as vice president and general manager of its newly formed Heat Group, bringing together unit heater manufacturer Reznor and infrared heating maker Roberts-Gordon, both owned by Madison. Patterson has been Reznor’s general manager for eight years.

The Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Institute of Canada (HRAI) has hired Andrew Ferguson in the newly created role of workforce development manager, leading HRAI’s efforts on behalf of the industry to recruit talent, address skilled trades shortages and re-skill existing workers.
In addition, the association has welcomed Samantha Mowlah-Baksh as new chapter relations coordinator, working in the membership department.
