Caleffi introduces vacuum relief valve

The VacuStop allows air into the piping system to prevent a vacuum which could siphon water from the system and damage water heater/tank equipment.
Caleffi North America has introduced the 304 Series VacuStop vacuum relief valve (VRV).
Available in ½-in. and ¾-in. MNPT (male national pipe threads), the Vacu-Stop is suitable for use in water and low-pressure steam services.
The vacuum relief valve is suited for water heaters and supply tanks.
The valve automatically allows air into the piping system to prevent a vacuum which could siphon water from the system and damage water heater/tank equipment.
- Max working pressure: 200 psi
- Operating temperature range: 32F – 250F
The Vacu-Stop meets ANSI Z22.21 Standard and is compliant with International
Plumbing Code (IPC) Section 504.2 governing safety devices. It is also NSF 61 and
NSF 372 compliant making it usable in potable water environments.
